The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering top-notch work to clients by serving as the main point of contact for clients and managing all account activities. They will also collaborate with colleagues and communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the life cycle of projects, ensuring timeliness, and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Serve as manager to a team of project coordinators and project managers.
Oversee direct reports by advising on decision making and providing guidance in creating new SOPs for accounts when necessary and modifying existing best practice documents as needed to meet overall client needs.
Oversee the project process through the entire life cycle- from taking the client brief through to completion, while ensuring projects are completed based on the schedule and budget provided.
Conduct internal financial status review meetings with direct reports.
Actively strive to drive new growth on the account by cultivating and maintaining strong, positive client relationships and providing a top-quality service.
Seek out and capitalize on business growth opportunities.
Support and guide junior members of the team by providing training/mentoring.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, or Communications field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience within medical communications.
Competent in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task efficiently.
Develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
Collaborate openly and effectively with colleagues.
