Join a privately owned educational organization in beautiful Miami! They are looking for a Staff Accountant to join their small finance team and grow with the company.
Responsibilities:
Month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
GL accounting and mapping of fixed-assets.
Journal entries and relevant supporting documentation.
Produce timely financial statements, following GAAP
Work extensively with the schools in the network.
Utilize NetSuite to conduct financial analysis and report to the Corporate Controller and CFO.
Requirements:
2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
Previous NetSuite experience is essential!
Very strong communication skills, able to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
A proactive attitude, with a deep motivation to learn and grow their career alongside the company.
