Job description

Our client, a full-service, patient-focused pharma company with a passion for understanding human behavior, is seeking a Content Designer to join their award-winning, multidisciplinary team.

The Content Designer will create new, innovative, evidence-based experiences for patients, care partners, and healthcare providers. They will utilize a user-centric approach, backed by strategy and behavioral science research, to design digital products aimed at improving the patient experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the user/user's needs throughout the research, design, and development process
  • Use behavioral research, data analytics, and strategy insights to create clear, meaningful, valuable content
  • Develop content outlines, user personas, user flows, journey maps, navigational models, storyboards, and sitemaps
  • Help create interactive design work (i.e., wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
  • Write and contribute to instructional copy, navigation labels, calls to action, and other UX content
  • User Testing: Identify and suggest research/testing opportunities, create stimulus, contribute to and create documentation, conduct and moderate user testing
  • Conduct heuristic analysis and reviews
  • Create both internal and external POVs for various UX subjects
  • Collaborate with UX designers, creatives, and developers to ensure user-centered design principals and behavioral strategies are implemented across projects
  • Present work internally and to clients
  • Lead and contribute to workshops and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of *professional (*post-college) experience creating user-centered digital designs
  • Experience with content inventory and analysis, task and use-case analysis, navigation models, user personas, IA, content outlines, heuristic analysis, sitemaps, and user flows
  • Thorough knowledge of UX principles and content strategy
  • Experience participating in and conducting usability testing
  • Experience documenting user testing results, including gathering interaction and functional requirements
  • Solid understanding of creative development process, including interactive outputs and the strategic thinking that drives successful execution
  • Working knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of front-end technologies
  • Comfortable presenting and selling ideas
  • Passionate about user-centered and user experience design
  • Interest in learning the ways behavioral science can inform and improve the design process
