Job description
SUMMARY:
I am seeking an experience account individual within the market access agency space to join an awesome East Coast based agency as a Group Account Supervisor. You must have demonstrated the ability to lead and grow accounts, manage/mentor junior team members, excel at clients interaction and control and guide them strategically.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clear communication and management of assigned team
- Strategic and tactical consultation with client(s)
- Facilitating, presenting, and selling high-quality deliverable
- Supporting financial reporting and reconciliation
- Management and development of direct reports
- Identifies cross-selling and new business opportunities
- Supports scope development and execution
- Manages revenue reporting and productivity compliance; prepares regular forecasts and budget reconciliation
- Ensures agency processes and documentation completion; keeps Sr. management apprised of critical client concerns and opportunities
- Actively participates in strategic client presentations, selling and defending the agency's point of view
- Provides training support to new client managers who are acclimating to advertising and branding principles, and the implementation processes
- Provides management direction and developmental support to direct reports in preparation for future positions; provides challenging and stretching assignments; empower others by providing opportunities for task management; shares ownership and visibility
- Facilitates agency performance evaluation, development plans, and MBO plans; holds frequent development discussions and addresses areas requiring improvement
- Attends all appropriate client meetings, market research, conventions; documents key learnings
- Gathers and contributes appropriate insights, facts, and data to foster the planning and creative processes for the client and agency team
- Stays current with industry news and competitive environment to continually expand knowledge; shares articles of interest with brand and internal teams
- Supports new business activities; developing strategic presentations and coordinating with creative to deliver impactful idea
- Travel up to 20%
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 4-6 years' experience in an agency setting, with recent years spent in payer/reimbursement/market access
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in science or marketing)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills, and has ability to manage expectations effectively
