Job description
We are looking for a Group Creative Director for a growing advertising agency!
Responsibilities:
- Oversees creative operations within the creative department including design, user experience, and video and animation production teams
- Creates goals for the overall creative departmentTracks those goals throughout the year or quarter to determine how well the department is performing
- Works closely with the executive team to attain and maintain creative vision in support of the overall agency's strategic initiatives
- Ensures the team consistently operates in an efficient/profitable way to deliver the highest quality of creative output within approved budgets
- Acts as a trusted partner to account, planning and technology counterparts and is listened to for their opinion and guidance
- Directs the creative teams so that the team environment, culture, capabilities, tools, processes and expectations are working in support of the objectives of the agency
Qualifications
- A minimum of fifteen years of ad agency experience, most recently performing as a Creative Director, Group Creative Director or Executive Creative Director
- Experience managing a team including hiring, establishing performance expectations, managing performance and coaching/mentoring
- Experience in emergent digital visual design trends including print, OOH, interactive, UI/UX, email, mobile and social
- Outstanding collaborator who can work across multiple functions and internal organization/teams with strong executive-level presence
- Strong creative background including concept development, art direction and copywriting
