Job description

A boutique RevOps as a Service firm based in the US is looking to bring on a Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer to join their delivery team - although there is a level of pre-sales involved in this role, you'd take ownership over 4-6 customers and provide ongoing project support, enhancement, & optimization of their Salesforce platform. Most of our clients are multi-year engagements and you'd have the opportunity to get to know your clients intimately and help drive their CRM strategy & adoptioon.

We are looking for Senior Salesforce Administrators / Solutions Engineers with
demonstrated experience providing technical analysis, implementation, and delivery of
key revenue strategies. This position will contribute to both daily tactical work and
strategic initiatives for our customers, typically through project work; generally speaking,
this is not end-user or ticket-based support work.

Reporting to a Team Lead, you will:

  • Administer and support Salesforce including user setup and design/configuration of Custom Objects, Profiles and Roles, Workflow/Process Builder, Visual Flows, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, Page Layouts
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to monitor data quality
  • Lead weekly sprint cycles and project plan overall as the sole project manager and technical resource for each of your clients
  • Typical admins support 5-6 clients simultaneously (after a 90-day ramp period)
  • Create and provide project plans, requirements, and technical documentation for larger projects and long term initiatives
  • Coordinate testing and deployment plans for complex change management/rollouts
  • Deliver user guides and/or training for large deployments
  • Track and communicate expectations and progress updates to customers, while managing expectations, using email, Slack, and Zoom

Requirements

  • 4+ years of business systems administration and/or management, including Salesforce, supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • 2+ years of systems delivery and project management ownership experience including: requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, deployment, training, and delivery
  • Agile Development and SCRUM delivery methodology and tool experience preferred
  • Collaborate with and manage cross-functional, virtual teams and stakeholders
  • Provide verbal and written communications to technical teammates and Sales and Marketing teams/leaders
  • Experience administering marketing automation systems like market, Hubspot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus, as are certifications like Adobe Certified Professional or Adobe Certified Expert Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist)
